❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Full Size White model
A place setting is the standard unit for measuring dishwasher capacity. One place setting includes: a dinner plate, soup bowl, dessert plate, glass, cup with saucer, knife, fork, soup spoon, dessert spoon, and teaspoon. With 12 place settings, this dishwasher can handle all the dishes from a meal for 4-6 people, including serving dishes and cookware.
White appliances are actually quite easy to maintain. They don’t show fingerprints and smudges as readily as stainless steel, though they may show stains more easily than black. A simple wipe with a damp cloth and mild detergent keeps the exterior looking fresh. The timeless appeal and lower maintenance make white a perennial favourite in UK kitchens.
During the Hygiene cycle, the water is heated to 72°C – significantly hotter than standard wash temperatures. This high temperature has been independently verified with the Golden Virus Hygiene Seal certification, proving it eliminates 99.9% of bacteria, viruses, and common household germs. It’s ideal for baby bottles, chopping boards, and anyone with higher hygiene requirements.
Yes! The flexible interior is designed to accommodate larger items up to 300mm (30cm) in diameter. The adjustable upper basket can be repositioned to create more space in the lower section, and the foldable tines provide additional flexibility for odd-shaped cookware. Most standard pots, pans, and baking trays will fit comfortably.
The Half Load function can be combined with five of the six wash programmes: Intensive, ECO, 90 Minutes, Glass, and Hygiene. When activated, it uses approximately 30% less energy and water than a full load cycle. The only programme it doesn’t work with is Rapid 30 Min, which is already optimised for quick, light washes.
49dB is about average for a modern dishwasher – roughly equivalent to a quiet conversation or light rainfall. It’s quiet enough to run during the day without disruption, though you might notice it in very quiet environments. For context, premium ultra-quiet models run at 44dB, while older dishwashers can reach 55-60dB.
The white and black models (CDWPF1201PW-UK and CDWPF1201PB-UK) are identical in every way except colour. They share the same dimensions, capacity, programmes, features, noise level, and energy rating. The choice is purely aesthetic – white for a classic, bright look, or black for a modern, statement style. Both offer excellent value for money.
While you can install it yourself if you’re confident with basic plumbing, we recommend professional installation for peace of mind. The dishwasher requires connection to hot or cold water supply, a drain connection, and a power socket. Inlet and outlet hoses are included. A qualified plumber typically completes installation in about an hour.

Washes well generally, so ok.
Trying to set up for phone app usage is a nightmare, and I class myself as app savvy. Have up so far but will probably try again later.
Purchased at a good price.
Fitting was free, luckily, as it was pretty non existent. Unless you have a slot in then save your money, you'll end up doing it yourself anyway!
It quite load though, feels like someone has opened a water hose in the kitchen.
The wifi function is very good and can start the machine not just the program.
The programs are nice and short
What can I say
It washes , dries and cleans everything 100%
Very quiet
Really happy
and I have had a few
and it’s better than my bosh one
that was a lot more expensive very happy with it it 10/10
If you book the installation package through Amazon along with your dishwasher it’s worth checking as to whether your current in-built dishwasher is hardwired or has a 3 pin plug. If it’s a straightforward plug you’ll have no bother but if it’s hardwired into the wall then the engineer who arrives WILL NOT be able to fit it. Removing the plug voids any warranty and the choice you’ll be given is either cancel the order and they’ll take the dishwasher back or you can cancel the order for the installation only, and all going well receive a refund of any costs, and then you will personally have to hire an electrician to replace your hard wire box with a plug socket. We found this out only when our old dishwasher had been fully pulled out, the front removed and the new one unpacked!!
We were fortunate in that we were able to get an electrician to visit later the same day but it could have been a real nightmare if not.
Also, and hopefully you’ll have the engineer who delivers it fit it too, but if not, before you start screwing in the fixings to reattach the facia then keep in mind the template that comes with the machine is incorrect and if you use it before checking, like we did, you’ll see that the top lugs are not marked in the correct position. Hopefully this little tit-bit of info will save you turning the air as blue as we did!
Machine so far so good……errr on the side of caution with the install.
Performance:
The ECO program is good, but it takes around 2.5 hours to do a full load. There's also a 90 minute wash and a rapid wash. It's very quiet during wash cycles too. If there's any sudden changes to performance then I'll update.
Positives
Very quiet.
Beeps when complete.
Excellent value for money.
Negatives
On the quick cycle it takes about 25 minutes but we often find that some of the detergent tab remains in the tab compartment. We now use the eco cycle, taking about 2 hours and run it over night. Everything is very clean and no tab remains.
The advertising shows the various washer cycles buttons superimposed over the top of the door edge. We did believe that's where they, but there in the front of the door.
The racks are quite fragile, certainly compared to our old Bosch only time will tell if they'll last.
Conclusion. Good value for money.
This thing is excellent. Gets everything super clean and looks great. Would recommend for sure.
A major advantage of this dishwasher is its flexible installation options; it can be used as a standalone unit or seamlessly integrated into your kitchen setup. Compared to my previous dishwasher, it operates much more quietly, making it a pleasant upgrade.
The clear and straightforward fitting instructions, along with all necessary accessories included, made installation a breeze. Overall, this dishwasher excels in functionality and performance, meeting all my expectations. Highly recommended!
A couple of things to note, but it’s still worth 5 stars. 1. It’s a bit shorter than average, so most kitchens would have about 7cm gap between the top of it and the work surface. 2. The fitting instructions have a template for where to drop the cupboard doors for mounting - but 2 of the drill spots don’t line up with the dishwasher, so check the template against the dishwasher before you drill.
Overall I am impressed- plenty of different cycles, lots of options but my fave one is the rapid one. Saves me time, energy and all dishes comes out sparkling.
Easy to put on and connect, easy to use. Looks great and do excellent job.
I am not sure if it’s due to the hole size on the arms - they get blocked after just one wash so I have to take them out and clean with a bottle washer every time otherwise next load comes out dirty.
Yes I’m using salt and rinse aid 🤷♀️
The Auto Wash and Auto Open Drying features make it super convenient, leaving your dishes spotless with minimal hassle.
It comes well-packaged, so you don’t have to worry about any damage during delivery. While the Energy Class D rating isn’t the most efficient, it offers solid performance at a reasonable cost. Overall, it’s a practical and stylish addition to any kitchen.
What a rip off piece of rubbish. It lacked the load versatility of this COMFEE machine, as well as the old Neff, and didn't always clean things as well. But, yippee-do, it had wi-fi! How useless is that? I mean, really, what is the point of a washing machine with wi-fi? Zounds, I hated it and I hated being ripped off. It is possible that about a year later and in a matter of which I ought to be more ashamed I opened the door too far and broke it. We thus ended up with this COMFEE machine.
It has considerably more versatility, for example you can fold the half the bottom plate racks flat to make loading pots and pans easier, the cutlery basket can be moved anywhere on the bottom shelf. It does a great job of cleaning. I've only crabbed it a star because some cutlery can fall over in the basket.
So here's a lesson for all you legacy brands; make a machine that does what the punters want, don't add expensive and unnecessary features.
What else? Oh yes, the COMFEE was less than half the price of the Bosch.
3 years ago and still working smooth .I needed another one for my other house and
i had no hesitation in choosing this one again.
Installation is super easy ,all the connections provided,i did it myself,no issue.Instructions manual is also supplied which is quite handy .Good enough for medium size family as plenty of room inside.
Performance wise its great because it fast in its action, much quieter and its energy saver too .
Different dishwashing settings there depending on how many items you have inside the
dishwasher, the best one is 1 hour cycyle. The dishes are clean and dry in this cycle .
The dishwasher is wifi enabled too .Even this can be controlled via its app and you can have notifictions on your phone
once your washing cycle is completed.
Talking about its design which is quite modern and adds beauty to the kitchen.Being its slim it does not take much space and
get the job done with ease.
One of the best value dishwasher in modern times and i highly recommend this.
First time I've bought a large appliance on Amazon and everything from price, delivery, and removal of the packaging was great.
I can't complain about the price, especially as I picked it up for £50 under the regular list price, on a promotion. Also no complaints about the delivery from Amazon - I didn't opt for a de-install or install service, so it was a self install. The first comment I will make is that if you want to connect the waste hose to an existing fitted waste trap connector, the hose is 24mm diameter not the usual 22mm. Luckily I found an adaptor on Amazon so I could convert the 24mm from the dishwasher down to 22 for the waste trap. It would be good if this was mentioned somewhere in the spec though, so you'd know ahead of time. Small detail, but had I paid for an installation service, I've no doubt they would not have been able to complete it.
Aesthetically, it's nothing to get excited about and at the same time nothing to be offended about. In an under the worktop install, it does protrude quite a bit but I think that's pretty normal. There is obvious cost-saving in the interior, such as the use of plastic spray bars and cheap interior plastics (baskets, rinse-aid compartment etc.), but that's expected for the price. Probably my biggest grumble is the incomprehensible digital display. As an example, if you want to change the water softener settings, the display changes as you toggle through the options, but what it displays has no relevance to the setting and associated value you are changing - it's guess work as to which setting you have left it on !
The Eco wash setting is quite slow, but then that's why it's Eco - but overall, it washes the dishes - I didn't need it to do anything more than that... Comfee is a sub-brand of Midea, which is a very large manufacturer for these lesser-know brands - time will tell how it lasts (noting that my last lesser-brand dishwasher and washing machine lasted for over 20 years, and my fridge-freezer is still going strong after the same amount of time).
The noise level on this is not too loud and has washed the dishes quite well so far
Feels robust in terms of quality too
What I love the most is the extra drying function, which completely eliminates the need to towel dry anything—everything comes out dry and ready to use! The high-temperature hygiene wash also gives me peace of mind, knowing that my dishes are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
One small downside is that for smaller loads, the cycles take a bit longer than I expected, but it’s a minor issue considering the overall great performance.
integrated dishwasher has not been working for over a year now. I decided to get this freestanding one
as a replacement as it is over £100 cheaper than the cheapest integrated option. This COMFEE CDWPF1201PW-UK has transformed my kitchen routine. As someone who dreads washing dishes, this dishwasher has been a lifesaver. The full-size design with 12 place settings easily handles everything from my morning coffee mug to the dinner party aftermath, which is no small feat.
One evening after hosting friends for dinner, I piled everything into the dishwasher, expecting to wake up to a few stray dirty dishes, but to my surprise, every dish came out spotless, even on the quick wash cycle. The Hygiene Wash feature is fantastic; it gives me peace of mind, especially after cooking with raw meat. Another time, I had a busy day ahead, so I used the Delay Start feature to have the dishwasher run while I was out. I came home to clean dishes without lifting a finger. The Half Load option is perfect for when I don’t have a full load but still want to avoid dirty dishes piling up.
What really stands out is how quiet this dishwasher is; I can run it anytime without it disrupting the household. It’s incredibly efficient and user-friendly, making it the perfect addition to my kitchen. If you’re looking for a reliable, powerful, and versatile dishwasher, this is a fantastic choice.
This truly does rival the top brands. Being able to control from your phone is also super handy ( I often forget to turn on before bed so I just do it on my phone!)
The capacity is good, cleaning is perfect. Shelves are well spread and a good variety of settings.
Would recommend over any household brand without a doubt
Easy to install and come with all you need
I personally installed myself
I am delighted with the performance- it cleans thoroughly and effectively.I am thrilled with the results-cleans stubborn food even on the Rapid program. Every time the dishes and glasses come out sparkling clean and spotless. This appliance saves me so much time and effort every dayand makes my life easier.Great value for money.
I am very satisfied overall.I highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone who wants to have an efficient and reliable dishwasher.
Plumbing it in was very easy and did not take long at all.
I had to research about using dishwasher salt and rinse aid. The inside of it is designed well with a separate holder for the cutlery. I like how things inside are fully adjustable and can move to accommodate whatever is being washed.
The functions and different wash cycles are great for quick washes and deep cleans. Having a notification when salt and rinse aid are needed topping up. I like how it comes with full instructions and is very easy to use. It comes with a rinse aid and 2 tablets which is very helpful to get started. Having a timer is a great bonus too.
The size it perfect for my little family.
For the price I an very happy.
Currently, it's working out well. The dishwasher installs like every other dishwasher. It works like every other dishwasher and the removal of debris, dirt and general cleaning is the same as every other dishwasher.
I like the fact that it opens itself after washing as well. Sentient technology at's it's best although it would be better if it put the dishes away as well!
We are almost up to a year now and it's going strong. If it lasts the anticipated 5 years than it's been worth it.
Read the reviews and took the plunge. Really happy that it has a time delay on it in hour incriments,( last one was 3,6 or 9 hour delay- not helpful!) so I love that. It’s fairly quiet, but ours goes on of a night, but still, good to know. Fits everything in, although I have denby plates that are a little deeper, so tend to space them out a bit. Do wish it had a slightly wider rack for plates, but that’s my only gripe if you like.
So far, clean dishes, eco programme( still don’t know how it’s eco if it takes so long?) and not noisy… you could ask for more, but hey, it does what it says it will do!
The dishwasher itself works really well, it's got plenty of space and comes with the basket. It also has handy accessories in the top basket for maximising washing space and it has eight different wash cycles to select from that you choose to best suit your needs.
The dishwasher even comes with app control so you check / set your programme and start / stop the wash. It also tells you how much energy was used per wash.
It's all very clever, the price is great and the value for money surpasses that of anything I've seen in my local curries.
This dishwasher can handle a generous load of dishes with its 12 place settings capacity, making it perfect for families or those who entertain often. Plus, dishes come out clean and dry thanks to the extra drying feature, saving you time and effort.
Installing the dishwasher is a breeze, and once in place, it seamlessly blends into your kitchen decor. Its delay start function adds flexibility to your schedule, allowing you to set wash cycles to suit your needs.
Overall, the COMFEE' Integrated Dishwasher is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for quality and convenience at an affordable price. It's a reliable workhorse in the kitchen, making dishwashing a breeze and leaving you with more time to enjoy the things you love.
In all honesty I hadn't hear of the brand before, but I do like shopping on Amazon as they are very good at sorting out any problems down the road, so when I seen this one at such a good price, I thought it was worth giving it a try.
Very pleased with it so far, it does a superb job of cleaning the dishes, it is pretty low noise when operating and it has loads of smart functionality you would expect from a higher end dishwasher.
The machine has six wash programs that you can choose from varying from 30 minutes to 3.5 hours.
Price however is very reasonable coming in much cheaper than most of the dishwashers available at my local electrical shop. Overall a great product with huge cost savings and a good value for money purchase.
This dishwasher has exceeded our expectations with its performance, convenience, and energy efficiency.
We have found it excellent for us, all dishes and cutlery are clean and dry even on the express setting, the glasses shine with no spots and stains, and even the dirtiest pans come out perfectly clean.
Great size internally and it is very quiet when running, there is a flexible loading option and I love the large basket that can take loads of cutlery. Good choice of different programs and is easy to understand, I tend to use ECO, which only takes 30 minutes and is so much cheaper too. Very satisfying to have it in my kitchen.
I would say it's well made and the quality is superb, looking nice, working properly and it comes with nearly all functions you need from a decent dishwasher. I normally put all dishes into it and run it overnight, all dishes clean and dry overnight, no hassle, and peach of mind. I found the delay start function really useful.
It's versatile with plate settings, probably could meet everyone's need, individually. Compared with my old dishwasher, I love the auto sensing wash, which ensures it can run in a most economic way, hence saving money and resources.
It's relatively quiet, and very impressive with 44dB noise level. Not sure of the tech, but COMFEE has done well in my opinion.
All in all, I'm happy with this COMFEE. So far so good, and hope it lasts.
I felt it was a simple installation. Inlet and drain pipe right next to each at the bottom left (when looking from the front) and there's a good guide to attach it to your door for the integrated model.
I've mentioned customisable on the title because the upper shelf can be positioned at three different heights. simply by removing it completely then using the runner at the height you want so very easy to switch between if you have bigger items to wash at the too or need more space at the bottom.
I'm happy with this dishwasher and love all the reviews and guidance that helped me make my decisions. Don't get that level of information from a shop!
It has a good layout. Lots of space for larger items on the bottom shelf. I love the high cutlery drawer. Eco programme takes a long time, but very clean and dry afterwards.
Good Points: I really like the removable cutlery rack at the top, I find the machine is easy to use and load and everything is coming out clean and fresh.
Improvement Points: Haven't found any negatives.
Really pleased would highly recommend.
The machine also smells really badly until you do a wash cycle, I have never had this with any other machine and I am going to contact the company to ascertain the problem
Controling the functions via the app is a nice touch. Overall the dishwasher is value for money, considering the price, just over £200.00 it is quiet, washes well, although the real test would be heavily soiled dishes and pans, I have not put that to the test yet.
Warning though, the template for door fixing assumes you want the top of the panel door and dishwasher flush (i.e. at the same level) so if you have something like a Wren handle-less kitchen like I have all of the drill holes are in the wrong place so move your paper template 25mm down from the top, or according to your requirements.
The template instructions also miss out the need to remove the rubber caps to screw in the side restraining screws. Its obvious where the screws go as long as you know they are needed. If you need top restraints rather than side I suspect you are out of luck, but haven't fully checked.
Its really quite noisy (admittedly on a nigh-empty run) and has no metal frame around it, but Im hoping putting the kickboard back in will help that.
The WiFI feature worked fine once downloaded from Google play and the first was cycle was started from my phone. Not tried a button start yet but it powers on and off and switches cycle ok.
Warning - I don't know if its the fire retardant on the insulation but the thing smells really strongly of fish when new, its not the water in the unit which is odourless, so if you have a fish phobia you might want to avoid it.
Hoses aren't the longest but fine for my use, standard size inlet fitting so you could replace that but not sure about the drain hose.
As expected from other reviews the rear foot adjustment didn't work from the front, and yes I did try it before I screwed it in place :-) This was ok for me as my unit was with tolerance on my spirit level. The front adjusters (just) worked, and they only needed raising a millimetre on one side and two on the other.
This unit reminds me of (I think) my old Philips Whirlpool dishwasher in how the door is mounted.
Its Class E, which isn't brilliant, but at over £300 cheaper than the Haier Class B dishwasher I bought that failed after 6 months (which was not bought from Amazon) I'm happy with this purchase for now.
The door is easier to get on and off than Haier's plastic fittings, as it is metal connectors and the door fits much better too as a result. I will try to add photos later...
