Carbon filters are only required for recirculating mode. If you’re venting the air outside through ducting, you won’t need them. Two CF04 carbon filters are included in the box should you choose to use recirculating mode.

This cooker hood uses standard 150mm (6 inch) ducting for external venting. This is the most common domestic size in the UK, making it easy to find compatible ducting kits at most DIY stores.

The 5-layer aluminium grease filter is fully dishwasher safe. Simply remove it from the hood and place in your dishwasher. We recommend cleaning monthly for best performance, or more frequently if you cook with oils regularly.

The COMFEE cooker hood operates quietly, especially on the lower speed settings. Three speeds allow you to choose the right balance between extraction power and noise level. It’s well-suited for open-plan kitchen and living spaces.

The hood comes with comprehensive installation instructions and an adjustable chimney section. If you’re comfortable with basic DIY and electrical connections, self-installation is possible. However, for safety and warranty purposes, we recommend using a qualified electrician.
