Auto-Open Drying
Say goodbye to damp dishes and condensation! When the wash cycle completes, the door automatically pops open a few centimetres, allowing fresh air to circulate naturally. This simple but brilliant feature delivers perfectly dry dishes every time – even plastic containers that traditional drying methods struggle with.
Smart Soil-Sensing Auto Wash
No more guessing which programme to use! The Smart Soil-Sensing system uses advanced sensors to detect the level of food residue on your dishes and automatically selects the optimal wash cycle. Lightly soiled? A quick, eco-friendly wash. Heavily soiled? A more intensive clean. You save time, energy, and get sparkling results every time.
How it works: Sensors monitor water clarity during the pre-rinse phase. Cloudier water = dirtier dishes = longer, hotter wash. It’s dishwashing intelligence, automated.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about the Stainless Steel model
44dB is remarkably quiet – roughly equivalent to a quiet library or a peaceful countryside area. For comparison, a normal conversation is around 60dB, and most dishwashers operate at 50-55dB. You could run this dishwasher in an open-plan kitchen during dinner without disrupting conversation, or overnight without disturbing sleep.
During the pre-rinse phase, sensors measure the cloudiness of the water to determine how dirty your dishes are. Cleaner dishes = clearer water = shorter, cooler cycle. Dirtier dishes = cloudier water = longer, hotter cycle. The dishwasher automatically selects the optimal programme, saving you energy and ensuring perfect results without any guesswork.
Yes, absolutely. While Auto-Open Drying is enabled by default (and we recommend keeping it on for best results), you can easily disable it by pressing the Auto-Open button before starting a cycle. Some users prefer to keep the door closed if the dishwasher is in a high-traffic area.
Energy Class D is one grade better than E on the EU energy efficiency scale (which runs A to G). This model uses slightly less energy per cycle than the standard white model, partly thanks to smart features like Soil-Sensing Auto Wash that optimise each cycle. For typical use, you’ll see marginally lower electricity bills.
No – in fact, it’s easier than you might think. This model features an anti-fingerprint coating that resists smudges and marks. A quick wipe with a damp cloth is usually all that’s needed. Unlike some stainless appliances, you won’t see every touch mark, making it practical for busy households.
The upper basket can be raised by 5cm using simple levers on each side, creating more room in the lower basket for larger plates up to 30cm. The flip tines fold flat for pots and pans, the cutlery basket is removable, and the cup shelves adjust to secure stemware. It’s designed to adapt to whatever you need to wash.
Yes. While sold as a freestanding model, the top panel can be removed to allow installation under standard 85cm worktops. The slightly shorter height (84.5cm with top, ~82cm without) ensures a perfect fit. Many customers use it in fitted kitchens alongside other integrated appliances.
The intuitive digital display shows the time remaining on the current cycle, which programme is selected, and the progress status using simple icons. It also indicates when rinse aid or salt needs topping up. All settings can be adjusted using the push-button controls alongside the display.

It quite load though, feels like someone has opened a water hose in the kitchen.
The wifi function is very good and can start the machine not just the program.
The programs are nice and short
Positives
Very quiet.
Beeps when complete.
Excellent value for money.
Negatives
On the quick cycle it takes about 25 minutes but we often find that some of the detergent tab remains in the tab compartment. We now use the eco cycle, taking about 2 hours and run it over night. Everything is very clean and no tab remains.
The advertising shows the various washer cycles buttons superimposed over the top of the door edge. We did believe that's where they, but there in the front of the door.
The racks are quite fragile, certainly compared to our old Bosch only time will tell if they'll last.
Conclusion. Good value for money.
What a rip off piece of rubbish. It lacked the load versatility of this COMFEE machine, as well as the old Neff, and didn't always clean things as well. But, yippee-do, it had wi-fi! How useless is that? I mean, really, what is the point of a washing machine with wi-fi? Zounds, I hated it and I hated being ripped off. It is possible that about a year later and in a matter of which I ought to be more ashamed I opened the door too far and broke it. We thus ended up with this COMFEE machine.
It has considerably more versatility, for example you can fold the half the bottom plate racks flat to make loading pots and pans easier, the cutlery basket can be moved anywhere on the bottom shelf. It does a great job of cleaning. I've only crabbed it a star because some cutlery can fall over in the basket.
So here's a lesson for all you legacy brands; make a machine that does what the punters want, don't add expensive and unnecessary features.
What else? Oh yes, the COMFEE was less than half the price of the Bosch.
Controling the functions via the app is a nice touch. Overall the dishwasher is value for money, considering the price, just over £200.00 it is quiet, washes well, although the real test would be heavily soiled dishes and pans, I have not put that to the test yet.
Warning though, the template for door fixing assumes you want the top of the panel door and dishwasher flush (i.e. at the same level) so if you have something like a Wren handle-less kitchen like I have all of the drill holes are in the wrong place so move your paper template 25mm down from the top, or according to your requirements.
The template instructions also miss out the need to remove the rubber caps to screw in the side restraining screws. Its obvious where the screws go as long as you know they are needed. If you need top restraints rather than side I suspect you are out of luck, but haven't fully checked.
Its really quite noisy (admittedly on a nigh-empty run) and has no metal frame around it, but Im hoping putting the kickboard back in will help that.
The WiFI feature worked fine once downloaded from Google play and the first was cycle was started from my phone. Not tried a button start yet but it powers on and off and switches cycle ok.
Warning - I don't know if its the fire retardant on the insulation but the thing smells really strongly of fish when new, its not the water in the unit which is odourless, so if you have a fish phobia you might want to avoid it.
Hoses aren't the longest but fine for my use, standard size inlet fitting so you could replace that but not sure about the drain hose.
As expected from other reviews the rear foot adjustment didn't work from the front, and yes I did try it before I screwed it in place :-) This was ok for me as my unit was with tolerance on my spirit level. The front adjusters (just) worked, and they only needed raising a millimetre on one side and two on the other.
This unit reminds me of (I think) my old Philips Whirlpool dishwasher in how the door is mounted.
Its Class E, which isn't brilliant, but at over £300 cheaper than the Haier Class B dishwasher I bought that failed after 6 months (which was not bought from Amazon) I'm happy with this purchase for now.
The door is easier to get on and off than Haier's plastic fittings, as it is metal connectors and the door fits much better too as a result. I will try to add photos later...
