❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, this table top dishwasher requires connection to a water supply and waste outlet. You have two options: 1) Standard plumbed connection like a full-size dishwasher, or 2) Connection to your kitchen tap using a suitable adapter (sold separately), with waste water emptying into the sink.
The 6 place settings capacity means you can wash up to 67 pieces of tableware per cycle. This includes dinner plates (up to 250mm diameter), side plates, bowls, cups, glasses, and cutlery – perfect for a couple’s daily washing needs or a small family’s single meal cleanup.
47 decibels is comparable to a quiet conversation or a library. This makes the dishwasher suitable for open-plan living spaces and overnight washing when using the delay start function. You won’t be disturbed while watching TV in the same room.
The 1-24 hour delay start allows you to load the dishwasher and set it to begin the wash cycle at a later time. This is particularly useful for running cycles during off-peak electricity hours (typically night-time) to save money on your energy bills.
Yes, for optimal cleaning results, you should use dishwasher salt (to soften the water) and rinse aid (for streak-free drying). The dishwasher has convenient LED indicators that alert you when these need refilling.
This model requires a water supply connection (plumbed or tap adapter), while the no-plumbing model has a built-in 6L water tank you fill manually. This plumbed model offers more convenience for regular use as you don’t need to refill water manually before each cycle.
Yes, the flexible racking system accommodates plates up to 250mm (25cm) in diameter, which covers most standard dinner plates. The adjustable rack design also allows for various dish sizes and shapes.
The COMFEE’ table top dishwasher comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. UK customer support is available, and spare parts remain accessible for long-term serviceability.

I've used the 8-place model before, and it worked great, but I needed something smaller.
Too bad, I didn't get to use it since it was seriously damaged and I'm sending it back.
I expected this replacement to be similar so although I could see it only had one shelf and was 6 place settings, I still thought it would be bigger than it turned out to be.
So it turned up, was obviously a lot lower in height. But was quite shocked when I saw how small it was inside. I am not sure how you are supposed to place 6 place settings in there, certainly no pots and pans. You'd have to run it two or three times, even with a small 2 person family to wash a full meal's worth of crockery and pans. So bear that in mind.
But I only paid £169 for it. And that's what I received. I quickly discovered that my plates were larger than 25 cm (they are 27 cm). They won't stand up in the dishwasher, they have to lean over. The one shelf comes off the runners very easily, so you have to try and get it back on the runners to pull the shelf out enough to remove what you have washed.
Frustratingly, the cutlery holder isn't brilliant. There are quite a few normal butter type knives that are too tall for the dishwasher, its also difficult to fit a lot of cutlery in the holder. And then you have to be careful to leave enough room at the front of the dishwasher for the cutlery holder.
So it washes dishes but is very small and awkward to use.
Would I buy it again, no. It looks like all the table top dishwashers now are about the same size (i.e. mini dishwashers), they are supposed to be big enough for a small family, but its not big enough for this small 2 person family. But it is a dishwasher and because I have disabilities (rh arthritis that makes my joints rather painful), it will have to do. Plus as some of the foam padding tore as I removed the dishwasher from the cardboard packaging (its not a box, its a 4 sided thing with foam and loose cardboard top and bottom etc rather than an enclosed box), so I have no idea how to return it.
Bear these things in mind when looking at table top dishwashers. I liked my previous Comfee dishwasher. Definitely not as keen on this one, but there is a better alternative. And it was very affordable.
I noticed another reviewer criticised the strength of the door. It actually seems well made and strong.
It arrived yesterday and I set it up myself. (Im 62 and live alone.)
I was excited to use it for the first time, but was puzzled with the free Finish bag of 2 ultimate pods which didn't fit in the small holder and the bottle of rinse aid which isn't required. What I did need however was a pouch of salt so the 1st wash was without. I looked at the Q&As on Amazon to find out that yes, the tablet holder is too small so to just leave same on mesh base of unit.
Loading the cutlery was a nightmare - the slots are too wide for teaspoons and there is little room for more than a few other items.
I just about managed to fit my day's crockery, including a small milk pan jug, but my small chopping board would not fit.
So, I filled the water tank, standing on a footstool in order to reach, and selected the eco programme.
I was surprised that this would be 2hrs 40mins (however the door opened with 30mins to go in drying mode, but I was able to remove items as they were already dry.)
My next surprise was the noise it made as I had read somewhere that the washer was quiet.
But, good news, all the cutlery and crockery came out spotlessly clean. My little teapot was shinier than when it was bleached, so I was very pleased with it's results.
I'm not really happy with the washer because of the pointless tablet holder, poor cutlery holder and the noise.
I'm going to try it again this evening and decide tomorrow whether or not to return unfortunately.......
UPDATE- I tried the washer again using the 58 minute program but some crockery items came out still soiled. I have decided to return this unit and research again.
After two weeks it started to leak :(
It was difficult to install. Had to order 4 different parts, and go to 2 part stores to find an adapter for my kitchen sink. Finally got the right one. Spent about £50 in parts trying to find the right one. Thank goodness I got my money back on the other parts.
It's a hassle, it's heavy, and takes up a lot of space when I'm not able to full load the thing.
The only problem with this sort of thing is that they could say it was damaged whilst unpacking . Fortunately it functions fine and I'm not that fussy about appearance.
