❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, this table top dishwasher requires connection to a water supply and waste outlet. You have two options: 1) Standard plumbed connection like a full-size dishwasher, or 2) Connection to your kitchen tap using a suitable adapter (sold separately), with waste water emptying into the sink.
The 6 place settings capacity means you can wash up to 67 pieces of tableware per cycle. This includes dinner plates (up to 250mm diameter), side plates, bowls, cups, glasses, and cutlery – perfect for a couple’s daily washing needs or a small family’s single meal cleanup.
47 decibels is comparable to a quiet conversation or a library. This makes the dishwasher suitable for open-plan living spaces and overnight washing when using the delay start function. You won’t be disturbed while watching TV in the same room.
The 1-24 hour delay start allows you to load the dishwasher and set it to begin the wash cycle at a later time. This is particularly useful for running cycles during off-peak electricity hours (typically night-time) to save money on your energy bills.
Yes, for optimal cleaning results, you should use dishwasher salt (to soften the water) and rinse aid (for streak-free drying). The dishwasher has convenient LED indicators that alert you when these need refilling.
This model requires a water supply connection (plumbed or tap adapter), while the no-plumbing model has a built-in 6L water tank you fill manually. This plumbed model offers more convenience for regular use as you don’t need to refill water manually before each cycle.
Yes, the flexible racking system accommodates plates up to 250mm (25cm) in diameter, which covers most standard dinner plates. The adjustable rack design also allows for various dish sizes and shapes.
The COMFEE’ table top dishwasher comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. UK customer support is available, and spare parts remain accessible for long-term serviceability.

The COMFEE’ Table Top Dishwasher – compact design, powerful cleaning, and smart features for modern living.

I have put one load through on the short cycle. Everything came out perfectly clean.
I have still to find just where I want to put it. (Filling it is difficult as not enough room when placed under my kitchen units.) I will find a way.
Was easy to set up.
I have seen a review about adding additional suction cups. I found the suction cups a bit useless.
So! I drilled a couple of small holes in the top of my washing up bowl. Put a zip tie in it!! Worked like a charm.
I've had this for three months (almost) and use it every day.
Pros:
- It sits on the worktop, so you are working at one level moving things in and out of the dishwasher with no fear of slipping or tripping onto utensils when the door is open.
- It is self-fill or plumb to a tap.
- You can see inside to be sure nothing is blocking the water from reaching everywhere.
- You can interrupt a programme to switch things in and out (rinse yourself under the tap), or to move things around just by opening the door.
- You can add tap-warm or cold water.
- It is a powerful water jet that does reach all things.
- It does fit a standard sized frying pan, and most pan sizes.
- It doesn't cost a fortune to run.
- You can empty of water as needed with the drain option.
- The vent helps, but it's not a smelly dishwasher because everything is easy to get to, you can see if there are gubbins in the drain sieve.
- You can wipe it out inside after oily tomato dishes and rinse water through with the drain option.
*I found workarounds to all the cons*
Cons:
- The drawer is not great with preset spaces for plates, it's a bit impractical for the designs of crockery we use today. That said the rack does fold away. So I bought an expandable metal rack that fits bowls and pasta bowls and deeper rimmed plates, which sits on top of the folded away rack. ** worth pointing out it is the same for all dishwashers, no matter the make.
- It takes 3x2litre jugs of water and a smidge more, so the 5 litre capacity stated in the description is not accurate on water capacity. That said you can get tap adapters which allow flow-through for normal use and a lever to switch to hose-fill for the dishwasher.
- The cutlery thing makes no sense, it's just a faff, because you cannot use the space above or below it while things are dangling through, and some cutlery falls through, so better to use that space for cups and buy dishwasher cutlery basket that fits your needs.
- * Depending on the space between your worktop and any upper cabinets or shelves it may not fit because you need space to add water at the top, unless you are going to use a tap adapter. But check anyway.
For the manufacturer to consider: no need for fixed plate racks that do not fit today's crockery designs, just leave a flat space and add removable, expandable racks; sort out that cutlery rack, it's just silly.
- The timing for programmes, some are too long (2hrs45 is not necessary) they could all be better purposed as user determined presets: wash for 8min segments, add a 2 minute pause for swap ins, 8 min wash again, etc, then add a rinse segments.
- The variety of programmes: the fruit and baby washes, and the steam feature are practical enough for purpose, if you have a baby, feel washing fruit under a tap is inadequate or have a virus and want to be extra hygienic, but for most people these are not all the time.
4 stars is because I had to find workarounds for the ill-fitting crockery rack and cutlery basket.
All things considered I love it. It's been such a help for me, and if you're interested and you've considered all the above I totally recommend it as one of the most energy efficient and practically priced, self-fill/plumb table-top dishwashers available.
*MY WORKAROUNDS
FROM AMAZON I bought a TAP ATTACHMENT/FITTING: Tecmolog Brass Sink Valve Diverter Faucet Splitter for Kitchen or Bathroom, 3 Way Diverter Valve, Sink Faucet Replacement Part M22 X M24, Chrome, SBA021C - to hose-fill, you have to start the programme for the water to pull through, which is different to self-fill the programme will not start if there isn't enough water. (copy past that into search)
FROM AMAZON. I also took off the cutlery shelf thingum and added a CUTLERY BASKET: Find A Spare Universal Cutlery Utensil Silverware Plastic Grey Basket 2in1 Detachable To Fit Bosch Samsung Maytag Kenmore Whirlpool KitchenAid LG Fridges (search that in Amazon) because it comes in two and is pretty slimline.
And most importantly if you have deep-rimmed plates or pasta dishes, FROM AMAZON I bought a PLATE RACK: MEETOZ Dish Plate Drying Rack, Pot Lid Holder, Adjustable Pot Lid Organizer, Kitchen Cabinet Pantry Pan and Pot Lid Organizer Rack Holder (2Pcs) - because they are expandable to any plate rim size, so I fold down the original rack and place this on top then load up.
** Some reviews mentioned droplets of water inside, mine had this, but that's because they have to run the cycles at the manufacturing plant to test it. Mine arrived without knocks and bangs and with everything factory wrapped inside.
You will likely need to buy new dishes and utensils to fit properly - I found some 25cm diameter plates from IKEA which are ideal. The loading tray can be somewhat fiddly, and it would have earned five stars if the layout was better designed. Filling it completely can be tricky, and realistically, it holds dishes for about six meals, meaning you’ll likely need to run it every other day.
The dishwasher struggles with rice and other stubborn, stuck-on food, so rinsing these items beforehand is necessary. Filling with salt and rinse aid is straightforward, and the washing programs generally produce sparkling clean dishes.
If space weren't an issue, I'd definitely prefer a full-size dishwasher, but given my limitations, this is a suitable alternative. However, I do wish it were slightly bigger, as I have room for a somewhat larger unit.
Only criticism is that you can’t use regular sized plates upright you have to tilt them but simple enough work around.
Well worth the money and would recommend to anyone that is short on space but wants an efficient dishwasher.
Only issue: The drainage hose keeps flopping around during use since it's designed for tabletop placement. Would be great if it came with a proper faucet adapter or clip to secure the hose - currently have to rig it myself.
For the price, it's a solid space-saving solution. Just be prepared to MacGyver the drainage setup! (6.5L capacity, Energy Class F)
It was beyond me and got a friend to do it.
It cost me about £25 in adaptors that didn't fit.
It's done now but be sure about your fitments!!
I would say the only thing disappointing about the model I got is it doesn’t come with a water tray. They seem impossible to find and cost a quarter of the price of the machine, which seems ridiculous. Due to where it’s positioned, it really needs a water tray so we have had to make shift something together but it isn’t great. Left feeling a bit short changed that this item doesn’t come with it but the previous models did?
Pro's:
Very good build quality both inside and out. Lovely bright and easy to use touch display.
Much quieter than I thought it would be.
Lots of different program options, including rapid ones which are useful.
Cleans dishes extremely well, I am very impressed with its performance.
Option to connect to a water supply.
Con's:
A lot bulkier than I thought it would be, takes up the whole sink drainer.
Awkward to fill up if it's under a cupboard and takes a while to fill with the small jug included.
You have to either be creative, logistical or lucky to get much inside.
I don't think this can be classed as suitable for more than 1 or 2 place settings.
Cutlery needs to go in a basket ideally, I purchased a small one which works better than using the rack.
Conclusion:
Does a fantastic job of cleaning, even heavily soiled items, it's quiet and built really well. But don't expect to wash more than a few items of crockery or expect to get big saucepans inside.
UPDATE: After 5-6 months use:
I am still very impressed with the cleaning power, and overall performance. I have got better at organising my dishes to fit more inside, but it's still a 2 person setting machine overall. No issues that others have reported and still quiet and economical to use.
My only slight criticism is there is often a thin line of orange grease in the base near the door, especially if you have oily tomato based food deposits. It's easy to wipe off and doesn't affect the cleaning, but it's an extra chore to do once you have emptied it.
I hope this continues to be as reliable and useful, these products can breakdown easily, but so far I am loving this appliance.
this one did not come with the adaptor to help put water in. This would be too big to fit between the counter and top cupboards.
Really easy to set up. You can attach to a water supply or use the tank in the back of the machine to fill with water. Top tip - if using the tank be careful not to overfill as it causes water to get into the bottom tray and you'll get the E4 fault. Easily fixed but best avoided.
The inside is roomier than you might think. You can either do a few plates cups and cutlery or remove some tray parts to fit small pots and pans. Perfect for a student or small kitchen.
Fairly quiet running with multiple functions including a fruit bowl to wash fruit and a jug to fill the tank.
Not badly priced for what you get and is a good idea for space management.
Overall good.
Fortunately we had 2 years of warranty that time so Comfee refunded the full amount! 👍 (absolutely amazing customer service)
and we ordered the new one (Energy D)
as we were really satisfied with this dishwasher.
Compactness: very compact we can put on top of the counter as we cannot fit a normal dishwasher.
Plumbing: didn’t want to plumb in or call a plumber so I decided to connect to the kitchen tap this time, rather than pouring 6L water every time.
✨ I ordered a tap diverter from Amazon and ordered 1/2 female to 3/4 male adaptor to connect to the water pipe as shown in the pictures.
You need to turn on the tap and start the dishwasher and then the water will fill up.
Once the beeping sound telling you the water is filled, you can close the tap.
Which means you don’t need to run the tap all the time 👍
I like that there is a salt container as we live in hard water area, which I don’t find in other countertop dishwasher.
‼️ When first arrived, inside can be wet due to its test running! which is mentioned on the machine.
Some customers complained about that inside is wet and seems like it is used, but it is because of the test.
Only downside is that they reduce the warranty period to 1 year. I didn’t want to take a risk buying Xcover as seeing many negative reviews. I just need to good care of it.
It has been absolutely brilliant countertop dishwasher for sure! Make life so much easier. It fits a lot than you expected. 👍 very happy customer

There is rattling sound from the right panel when running. When I hold it tight it does not make any noises but as its own it does.
I am not sure whether it is faulty or not.
my main reason for buying this type is it sits nicely next to my sink and under a cupboard nicely.. its plumbed in via a Y input socet for the water but in my case not plumbed for waste flow (i drain it strait into the sink like an old twin tub washing machine) .. works like a dream.
my ONLY gripe with this brand is you cant get the 1 year guarentee in the UK as its an Aussie import and all the pamflets reflect that alas. and thats why i give it only 4 star.. nonetheless a solid reliable machine :)
There is a ever so slight design flaw: I have dinner sized plates, and somehow you need to stack these plates whilst the rack is pushed in or they won’t fit through the door. Obviously you need to plan this logically and fill the back first before moving to the front of the rack.
Plumbing it is was easy. I purchased a water supply and waste splitter, and it shares both water and waste with my washing machine.
The salt tank was easy to fill as you are provided with a funnel.
Overall, for the price (£174) this is a much better alternative to the glass door counter top dishwashers that only take 3 plates and a spoon, this it just like having the bottom drawer of a regular dishwasher. Enough for 2 people or less and just as powerful as a regular dishwasher.
This is very good to help you diet as you can’t fit large dinner plates inside. It’s very quiet when in use and delivers good results in most cases.
The I gave one star less, is because it does not fit in my cupboard, although it advertised on YouTube it can fit in your cupboard, But' Apart from that No Complaints, happy customer, Thank you to the seller,
The washing function so far seems to be good, dishes are coming out clean on the rapid setting that I have tried.
The dimensions worked out as advertised because the machine was able to fit on my counter top perfectly.
The colour is great.
It would have been nice if the door had some sort of latch. I always feel like I am about to pull the entire machine off of the counter as I am trying to open the door as it is so stiff.
It also would have been nice if the machine came with the appropriate adaptor for kitchen faucets, or at least some sort of advice as to which would fit the hose etc.
The dishwasher effectively cleans dishes, but it's worth noting that larger plates may require angling to fit properly. Additionally, the cup rack is suitable for small cups but not ideal for mugs.
Despite these minor quirks, the overall cleaning quality is good. It's a great addition to a small kitchen, providing convenience without taking up much space. If you're looking for an efficient and compact dishwasher for a smaller household, this one is worth considering.
Waskes well, if very soiled needs to put on the higher temp. Also it won't remove some dirt from forks and knilives on low temps.. same as if you would wash by hand.
On the day of purchase, the Delivery team was very helpful as it came very packaged even a tall 6'5 delivery driver from amazon looked like he had not come prepared for it and I received the message to come to meet him outside to help him
After gaining the item into the property i found it straightforward to unbox,
Lots of poly form to protect the dishwasher and majority of two boxes
now here where the problems with my kitchen lay to fitting the dishwasher
I had only one sink trap on my bend under my piping which ment 2 options
the first option after so much hassle, was to attach the waste-pipe to empty into the sink using a U bend holder,
We took this first option whilst we ordered a Y piping cold water splitter from amazon (Note do not use the plastic ones as stated on here they are useless and go for the brass ones to feed to cold water to dishwasher and other device like a washing machine for example)
we then have the device sat next to the sink (for now as we are considering moving it into a unit or old cupboard but that means ordering a new drill and making some bore holds to connect up to piping simple 10 min job once we get a new heavy duty drill to do
downsides to this dishwasher so far
when using this washer is Fab and have no mention on the operation so far, and it's working just fine, Just make sure you use some also some dishwasher salt and not just dishwasher tablets and liquid to get a great finish and shine,
The only issues is this is a small dishwasher inside and needs to be plumed in to work,
You cannot fit large plate trays in but usually can do an echo wash from 0.30 mins to 2 hours timed and free up time, Normally that time used and wasted by looking for other items to top up with the dishwasher lol
Large plates over 10mm Don't fit and you have to angle them or arrange a setup where you can fit them but things like small plates to stained cups are not a problem and they can be sparkly clean
this dishwasher also can dry the plates ect but after every wash i like to leave, open the door once complete so far i have had no issues with dishwasher just being in an old property and renovating the kitchen was the stumbling block for my family and me,
Also avoid using basic plastic type cups the type you can get from Walmart for drinking soda in these dishwashers and novelty type cups from Etsy for example
this dishwasher chips away the plastic but i think it is the poor design of these type of cups or drink holders
so far can on its own wash many things, and its bulky (looks quite nice mind) but thrilled with purchase
I'm bad at procrastinating & it got to the point that the dishes got to a point that I didn't hv any clean ones, and frankly the idea of the sink was kinda intimidating!
Since I have got the Dishwasher I haven't had a dish problem
The only reason I'm not giving 5* is cause the Majority of large plates at 27" whist the dishwasher only takes 25"
... I now have an excuse to get new plates!
Mine arrived with dents on every corner and the handle was broken on the cutlery holder. I did contact amazon and send them many images but apparently they 'couldn't see the damage on the 5 images i sent' The dishwasher isn't packaged amazing either, you will see when it arrives how the box doesnt really protect the product. However for a small cheap dishwasher it does the job. You need a Y shaped piece so that you can fit it in and have a washing machine connected to your sink pipes. I leave the waste water hose in the sink, its a little messy looking but as Im living in a rental home, I cant drill through the work tops to hide it.
But when my last table-top dishwasher broke, I was facing a wall of dish washing and not being physically able enough to keep up, I had limited funds and it appeared if I wanted anything any time soon; a limited number of machines. I could get this machine, a slightly more expensive also unheard of brand if I was prepared to wait a few days longer, or I could pay more than double and get a Bosch...and also wait a few more days... I took the gamble. Normally it wouldn't. The reason I've included this in my review is to give you a little context- this machine arrived already having to prove itself before it even got out of the box. I have a low threshold for things not working, I have high expectations and a low budget. It was a lot to ask.
Now; I will say, the first machine went wrong. Exactly what I had feared- it stopped working at 3am and the alarm wouldn't stop until I unplugged it from the socket. It had a leak.
I contacted both Amazon and the supplier- at 5am. Both responded within the hour, I think actually in minutes, and for that I cannot fault the communication (Amazon by phone, Comfee' by email). I wouldn't have expected both to respond or with trouble-shooting ideas and in the end, a new machine and pick-up-arranged returned faulty one.
I can't say the whole experience was stress free, it really wasn't. There was also a delay in getting the old one taken out, new one installed and collection date. I do think I lost out there. I did have to know my rights and what to expect, but fact is if a machine is faulty within a certain period you are due a full refund or exchange, it felt like if I hadn't argued for this I'd have lost out. I was in two minds about trusting another of these machines, but I took the gamble. Again.
Luckily second time around it was a better experience.
Pros of this machine:
-Very easy to install (I am told). Didn't take a lot of elbow grease or technical wizardry. My previous machine had fittings which worked with this one (Indesit machine if that helps). I didn't do this myself but bought someone in to, this is what I was told by them.
-Very easy to use. You get to select from 6 different cleaning options ranging from the 30 mins quick once-over to the full 2 and a half hour deep clean. I've tried them all, I actually get the results I need with the 30 min mode, very rarely there is any debris and this comes despite some pretty ground in food. I never see coffee or tea marks still on my cups which was a big issue for the Indesit if I'd ever used less than the most robust cleaning mode. I just chalked that off to being in a hard water area but this machine hasn't that issue.
-I like that there is a programme time display on the machine to show how much longer the wash has to go. Really useful.
-The machine actually does a really good job of cleaning. I was suprized how well it did it's job- everything so far has come out sparkling clean with the shortest of cleaning modes. I'm genuinely really impressed with what I have seen so far. I've had this machine a few weeks now, it still appears to be cleaning perfectly still.
-The machine is easy enough to understand. I don't need to get the book out each time, it just makes sense; a point-and-shoot type thing. I'd need to understand what the different symbols mean but there's little to need to make sense of.
-Noise level; really a quiet machine. I hear the alarm beep fine, but the wash itself isn't loud. I can have a phone conversation on speaker in the same room and it not be an issue. I think my microwave may be on a par in terms of noise level. In comparison; my washing machine (a Bosch -which isn't known for being super loud) is much louder. I'd say it's maybe the same or slightly quieter than the previous Indesit table top dishwaher machine it replaced
-Despite the initial machine having been faulty, the service response of the Comfee' team was very good. I'd not expected them to respond or even offer to replace the machine themselves. I took Amazon as my option to replace though as I know the consumer rights I have sit with Amazon and not the manufacturer, but Comfee' did step in to offer a replacement and refund of shipping if I had chosen that option (shipping to a UK address by the way in case anyone was alarmed at the idea of shipping to China or elsewhere!)
Cons
-Now; I am happy with this machine- and was happy enough with the build to have reordered. But be aware that you are not getting a luxury all singing all dancing model here; the machine build does feel a little...thin. The door when I pull it open (a fairly strong 'yank' is needed) does splash water back at me if I've chosen the 30 min non-drying mode and if I don't get my face out of the way, end up with a splashed face. And it could do with a stronger door if I am honest, it's the one main concern I have. I am a little worried, but not so worried I wanted a different model when I had the option when the first went wrong.
-The inside plate filing system isn't so easy to use- the plates wont stand up. No matter what their size or style, it isn't easy to keep them standing upright without a now well-practiced balancing act where now the edges of my plates need to lean on each other to keep them from falling. Tall glasses are similar. But mugs, bowls, cutlery? All very easy to deal with and I will say again, despite the effort required to get a wash set up (it's really not that terrible!) I do still end up with brilliantly clean results, so I must be doing something right!
-I'd say that despite the concerns over the build, it is putting up with some pretty robust cleaning. I regularly do 2 washes a day, sometimes one within an hour of the first and the machine shows no issue with this. Still the same results in terms of cleanliness, nothing seems to be telling me off and I've not run out of salt or dishwashing aid yet despite getting through what I would say is 3 months use out of 1 month.
That's pretty much as far as I am able to comment, if I experience anything out of the ordinary, I will update but as yet, I'd recommend this machine for people who want to make a saving and are not after ALL the bells, whistles and matchy-matchy kitchen white-goods!
First, as others have said, genius packaging! What a pleasure not to have the usual cardboard and tape battle to begin.
Installation was a doddle. Connect a couple of hoses, plug it in, and off we go... Though I did use a jubilee clip on the outlet connection, just to be sure.
The photo shows it in a (new) b&q 600mm standard cabinet. I slightly miscalculated and thought the cabinet door would fit, but it's just too deep - I think if I'd gone for a full cupboard, rather than drawer line set up, it would have fit perfectly.
The appliance itself seems sturdy, well made and the fuss-free design is pleasing to the eye. The door opens and shuts with a satisfying clunk, the basket rolls smoothly, and the compartment for tablets/powder seems robust enough.
Using is a doddle too. Press one button to cycle through the 6 preset programmes, and another to start. The digital display shows the length of the cycle, and counts down time left, which is handy as I don't need to remember which cycle is which.
Over the couple of weeks we've had it, I've tried a few of the cycles. For day to day cups, crockery and cutlery, the 30 min cycle is perfectly adequate. It doesn't have a "drying" component, but then the longer cycles don't really leave things "dry" anyway. The 90min cycle has handled oven dishes with cooked on gravy and sticky crumble juice. It's quieter than I expected (now I've realised that noise is the powder compartment opening, *not* a hose popping off!).
For such a small appliance, it does seem to hold a fair amount. With a bit of thought, it'll easily hold a whole day's washing up for the two of us - I've not completely filled it yet, even on Xmas day, and we get through a LOT of mugs!
All in all, I'm really impressed with what I've got for my money. Obviously I can't comment on longevity yet - I'll update if we run into any problems. The missing 5th star is just due to the basket design. I would have liked the slots for plates to be just a little bit deeper to hold them better - we have Denby crockery with thick lips, and it can be a bit fiddly to position them so they don't fall over.
