❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, this table top dishwasher requires connection to a water supply and waste outlet. You have two options: 1) Standard plumbed connection like a full-size dishwasher, or 2) Connection to your kitchen tap using a suitable adapter (sold separately), with waste water emptying into the sink.
The 6 place settings capacity means you can wash up to 67 pieces of tableware per cycle. This includes dinner plates (up to 250mm diameter), side plates, bowls, cups, glasses, and cutlery – perfect for a couple’s daily washing needs or a small family’s single meal cleanup.
47 decibels is comparable to a quiet conversation or a library. This makes the dishwasher suitable for open-plan living spaces and overnight washing when using the delay start function. You won’t be disturbed while watching TV in the same room.
The 1-24 hour delay start allows you to load the dishwasher and set it to begin the wash cycle at a later time. This is particularly useful for running cycles during off-peak electricity hours (typically night-time) to save money on your energy bills.
Yes, for optimal cleaning results, you should use dishwasher salt (to soften the water) and rinse aid (for streak-free drying). The dishwasher has convenient LED indicators that alert you when these need refilling.
This model requires a water supply connection (plumbed or tap adapter), while the no-plumbing model has a built-in 6L water tank you fill manually. This plumbed model offers more convenience for regular use as you don’t need to refill water manually before each cycle.
Yes, the flexible racking system accommodates plates up to 250mm (25cm) in diameter, which covers most standard dinner plates. The adjustable rack design also allows for various dish sizes and shapes.
The COMFEE’ table top dishwasher comes with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty. UK customer support is available, and spare parts remain accessible for long-term serviceability.

It’s also really simple to use once it’s up and running, I absolutely love it :)
Only things worth mentioning is it’s very very heavy! So don’t recommend lifting it alone,
and if you aren’t planning on plumbing it in you’ll also need to buy a tap diverter adaptor, but they’re relatively cheap on here and I found it easy to connect the dishwasher to the adaptor once it was set up.
have purchased it but after using for first whole week i can easily say i made the
right choice and im happy with its perforamnce so far.
First of all its easy to setup ,it does not take that much space.its compact and doest
the job nicely.
plenty of space for a small family ,baby feeders etc cleaning functions is very helpful.
it uses less whater and its energy effecient too .
the only tricky part is youhave to place the items in right direction and once you have done it leave
the rest to this smart machine.Job done !
Excellent value for money and highly recommended
The cleaning performance is excellent. Plates, cups, and utensils come out spotless, even with greasy dishes. There are several wash programs to choose from depending on how dirty the dishes are, and it runs pretty quietly too, which is a big plus.
Overall, the value for money is great. It really saves time and effort, making life so much easier. Perfect for one person or small households. Highly recommended
I recently moved home and my new kitchen does not have space for a full-sized dishwasher. I kept on top of cleaning the dishes for about 2 months but recently fell behind due to illness and from having extra dishes due to visitors. I had this on my wishlist and finally decided to purchase and it has made a huge difference.
This machine washes amazingly, dries efficiently and saves on water! I am super impressed and so is my partner (who has fallen in love with it.)
So far, 5 stars! Absolutely recommend this. I will update if anything changes but so far, so good!
It fits neatly on our countertop next to the sink and was really easy to connect up.
It fits way more in than I was expecting and everything always comes out lovely and clean.
The inside is a lot bigger than I expected, and I can surprisingly fit quite a lot in it. There is only one lower level and a cutlery rack, but I have since figured out that I can use a metal rack that I have spare from an old grill pan as a second shelf. This fits perfectly for me and means I can have the bottom layer filled as well as an extra layer above. Would have been nice if it came with a second shelf, but this has worked great for me.
Lots of different settings to use depending on the type of dish you're washing and each of these has its own temperature and times. It comes with a handy instruction booklet which explains what each setting washes best, their times and the temperatures, so you can decide which wash you need to use.
When a cycle finishes washing, it will do part of the drying with the door closed, then it automatically pops open for the last part of the drying phase. I think this is to reduce the amount of energy it uses, which is a great feature. I'm not sure if this works on all wash settings as I've not needed to try them all, but I'm sure this is explained in the instructions.
You can add dishwasher salt to the machine if you live in an area with hard water, and it's very easy to fill up. Just unscrew the cap, fill with water and add your salt. The instructions will tell you how much you need. There is an icon on the display that will disappear when salt is no longer needed.
No plumbing is required, and you just need to fill up the tank with water using the jug provided. This takes around 3-4 full jugs and is easy enough as long as you're able to reach the opening to the tank on the top. This hasn't been an issue for me, but I can imagine it may be for some people with wrist issues as mentioned in some other reviews.
Overall, one of my favourite purchases and I'm glad I finally bought one after putting it off for so long. Life's too short to be standing over the sink washing dishes all the time.
Once you work out how to fill the dishwasher you’ll be surprised just how much fits in it, I’ve even managed to get a milk pan in with 3 cups, 3 full size plates, 2 bowls and loads of cutlery!!!
Everything comes out sparklingly clean and best of all I’m using less water than I would doing the wash by hand as I would usually fill the sink up to wash and then run the water to rinse, instead I use exactly 5 litres for everything.
It’s well worth the money!!
The photo shows it pulled forward on my worktop, next to Jemima my biscuit barrel who gets along fine with it too.
The only, very mild, annoyance, which isn't the products fault, is that much less detergent is needed as it's so much smaller and it's proven difficult to find unportioned detergent as it seems to only come in tabs of one sort or another. I'm using powder tabs and cutting them in half for the moment which seems to be effective.
Over all though, I love it!
The built-in water tank is ideal, and the steam wash and baby care functions are incredibly useful. It cleans dishes thoroughly, runs quietly, and the 72-hour air circulation keeps everything fresh until you unload.
It’s compact but surprisingly spacious inside, perfect for a small family. I’m really happy with the quality and how much easier it has made daily life. Highly recommend it for anyone short on space but still wanting a proper dishwasher.
job very well .I bough this for my new apartment,i dont have enough space
to install a full size but since i have bought this im very satisfied.
The dishwasher is well easy to setup and also simple to operate .
it cleans and dries the utencils properly .its also energy effecient ,does not use
much of energy .Unlike my previous dhswasher unit it does not make much noise and
gets the job done quietly which is impressive .
Happy with my purchase and i ll not hesitate buying another one for my sister's
home next month.
Well worth the price and good value.
It is super convenient and surprisingly powerful and runs quietly.
I like that it fits on top of the counter top and drains directly into the sink. It is perfect for a couple and can easily handle a days dishwashing.
It’s a good storage area too, so it can keep your dishes stored in there once washed for 72 hours, if you are unable to empty it straightway. It runs quietly, so there isn’t much noise, it doesn’t bother you whilst working nearby.
Setup was easy, the manual was easy to follow and it came with everything you need. It does really save you from handwashing and saves a whole lot of water.
Overall it is a sturdy piece and looks good too
Well worth the money highly recommend this is the second purchase from this range great table top dishwasher
It's important to load bowls and saucepans sideways. Be careful with non-stick ware and what abrasive detergent used as there were some scratches on my black knife. I use the middle programme which takes 2 hours. I'm having a new kitchen and this is going to be integrated into where a second oven would go.
If you have a very small kitchen like mine, this is super. I really missed my dishwasher from my previous home and was delighted finding this. I had it plumbed in by my handyman at a reasonable price. It's also very easy to use. What's more, it's really CHEAP to run, just a few pence so if you're on a low income, that helps.
It's also valuable for people who have health issues and can't stand at the sink to wash up.
Very happy with it
My only issue is that the inside of the machine needs wiping down after each cycle due to residue accumulating around the door seal. It can be a little tricky to get into the crevices, and I can imagine it could get quite unpleasant if not cleaned regularly.
We decided not to plumb it in due to the proximity of our sink. We fill the 6-litre tank using a hose we attach to our tap—this method is quicker and less messy than using the supplied jug (note: no funnel is provided to assist with filling the tank). I also found the waste hose supplied wasn’t suitable for where we wanted the dishwasher to sit, as I wanted it as flush to the wall as possible. I encountered an error code during the first cycle because the waste hose was too bent. After searching high and low online, I finally found a Kenwood drain hose (manufacturer’s part number: 12676000000962) that fits the 15mm drain pipe perfectly and allows me to position the machine as originally planned. Please see the photos for our setup.
In conclusion, I’d recommend this dishwasher to anyone who doesn’t have space for a full-sized one. It saves us time, and it’s lovely having squeaky clean tableware.
Overall really happy with the product and would recommend
For installation it’s very easy to install same with plumbing. I would really recommend for small families of 2 people ☺️
Cleans brilliant, and no drying up either. My cups which I thought were clean weren't. Now all gleaming inside and out. Well worth the money.
Firstly, if the pipes are properly routed, it is possible to plumb the machine into a kitchen tap with minimum obtrusion. In order to do this, a tap diverter is required, available from many popular websites (i.e. this one). This is the thing on the end of the tap that the inlet hose connects to. The machine uses a "washing machine" hose which is 3/4 inch, so a 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch adapter is required, which is sealed with either PTFE tape or Loctite 567. The key part is to orient the hose to the rear (not side-on) so that it is hardly visible when fitted.
In order to run a cycle, the machine needs to fill itself with 6 litres of water which happens in the first few minutes of the program. After this, the tap diverter can be switched back and the tap turned off. If the machine is unable to fill itself within a certain timeframe, it beeps and requires the Start button to be pressed to continue the cycle.
It is possible to stop the machine mid-cycle to add extra dishes by pressing the Start button.
In order to force the machine to drain all the water in it's sump and tank, hold the "Hygiene 72deg" and "Rapid" buttons for 3 seconds and it will pump all the water out.
The drain hose is routed into the sink and secured to the side with a 12mm hose clip attached with 3M VHB tape for the strongest bond.
Regarding detergents, don't be tempted to try any form of liquid or gel as the machine initiates every cycle by emptying its sump (which is where it will be). I have had excellent results with supermarket tablets which cost around 8p each, and honestly clean identically to the premium brands.
To improve the cutlery capacity, I switched the cutlery shelf with a cutlery basket for commercial dishwashers, which allows for more cutlery and better cleaning.
When loading the machine, it is important to remember that most of the cleaning is done by the spinner on the bottom, with a mini-spinner at the top with much lower pressure. Make sure that all the dishes can be hit by the water jets from the bottom spinner, otherwise they won't be properly cleaned. With this in mind, the machine can hold an impressive amount of dishes and cutlery if properly stacked.
Take note, for most programs (except "Rapid") the machine will do about 10 minutes of drying using a fan at the end of the cycle, during which it emits steam from the vent on the top. It is important that the machine is not placed underneath cupboards, especially if there is any lighting fitted as it will rapidly cause damage. I have oriented the machine sideways so that the vent is not blocked by the cupboards, which is very important.
In future models, it would be good to position the steam vent at the front of the machine, so that it can be orientated frontways when located beneath cupboards. Also, a right angle drain hose would also make it neater, although this is not essential.
Overall, I am amazed by the cleaning power of the machine especially on the Rapid setting (which takes only half an hour), and it really makes life easier.
It works well and has a 30 minute run mode which works well. It takes full size dishes, pint glasses, and everything else very well.
I can't really use it to clean pots and pans as the handles take up a lot of space but I mostly handwash those as needed.
Would buy again.
Had a lot of trouble with white stains and residue tried altering rinse aid and different powders to no avail, tried tablets also no good the only ones that work perfectly are the Fairy pods, now have pristine dishwasher, pans, crockery and cutlery. When using the pods do not use rinse aid and salt.
Just to say I live in a very hard water area!
I would recommend this Comfee tabletop dishwasher.
Space wise it IS fiddly. You need to plan what you’re doing a bit and load from the back forwards. All but our largest plates do fit in. You can get the odd bigger utensil in like a small saucepan but it isn’t really for you that so you do still end up having to wash up the pots, pans, mixing bowls, casserole dishes etc. But then with any dishwasher you’ll have some stuff you can’t put in anyway.
Quiet enough you can’t hear it’s on when the utility room door is closed.
Really wish it had a light, I’ve no idea if any dishwashers do but it would be a big help.
All in all for the money and the space I was willing to give up to one we are very happy with it.
1. Assembling: a bit painful if you need to get extra connectors. I recommend “ 1 Piece Faucet Diverter Alloy Shower Diverter Valve Shower Head Adapter Used for Kitchen Sink Faucets or Bathroom Sink Faucets”, as shown in the picture, we use it to connect the water input with our kitchen Faucet(you might need another part-something like a screw, we find it at ScrewFix). In this way, we could use our faucet, while letting it provide the water for the dish washer.
2. Cleaning: For Eco mode, you need approximately 3 hours, which is not quick, but acceptable. And it works very well, you will get your shiny bugs and bowls. Oh, and of course, it dry all the items.
3. Noise: please refer to the video. It is not totally quiet but it is not annoying.

Since buying this Comfee dishwasher in Oct 2022, we have had nothing but praise for it. So much so that people are still asking us about it and where we got it, so thats why I re-visited this product page to give them the link, and thought I would update the review here. As others have said, it just works, and it works well! We use the 90 minute cycle the most, dishes come out clean and dry, and even those big full size dinner plates that you might not think will fit, they still fit, you just put then in on a slight angle, and they just stay in place. Just like a normal dishwasher, just keep in mind how the water jets will hit the items, and make sure the dirty sides of the plates and bowls have direct access to the jets coming from the bottom, and all will be well. We even manage to fit in our big sauce pan, frying pan, and even our Ninja Foodi pan and crisper basket fit. Not all these at once obviously, but in one cycle we'll do one of the big items mentioned above, as well as several plates and bowls and lots of cutlery. We have one of the cutlery basket spacer things in place, and the other side is kept as an open basket for things that are too big to fit in the slots. Long things go on the edge supports or just draped over the plates. Sometimes we can even get away with using only half a dishwasher tablet. We use the Ecover all in one tablets, as we need something environmentally friendly as we use this on a canal boat.
Install Notes:
We have this plumbed in to the cold water feed which was dead simple to do as the existing piping is all push fit Hep2O connectors. So just head to Screwfix/Toolstation for the parts you need. And the outlet plumbing is very simply plumbed into the appliance connection under the sink, as we have an IKEA sink. If you have an IKEA sink too, and only have one applicance connector, you can buy a single second one to attach on the to end, to have 2 appliance connectors. We have 2, one for the dishwasher, and one for the washing machine. Works great.
Kitchen Cabinet Installation:
it works really well in an IKEA kitchen customized METOD cabinet edited using their kitchen planner software. Just get the bare METOD cabinet, and add 2 shelves in, and you can even have left over space for a pop out chopping board above, and a 20cm drawer below!
Final tips:
And just remember at the end of the cycle when it beeps and displays END, it's worth just popping the door open and leaving it ajar slightly, this really helps the dishes dry even faster. Some full size dishwashers do this opening at the end automatically, but you really can't want more from this great little unit for the price.

Original Review 2022:
Not much to say yet, other than that it works great and was very easy to install myself, with no real plumbing experience. It's quiet and I also find half a dishwasher tablet seems to be good enough! Will hopefully remember to update review if there's ever an issue, but very happy so far!
This was the main reason we went for this one as others took more worktop space.
The instructions were simple to follow and they explained clearly how to install it and use the differenct cycles. We have bought an adapter which allows us to connect it to our kitchen tap and drainage hose runs straight into the sink.
We have mainly used two of the cycles. The rapid clean mode is perfect for cups and glasses which is the majority of our dishes. We tried it on dirtier items but it didn't clean the dirt completely.
For the dirtier washes like cutlery and bowls or plates we have used we generally use the universal cycle. I've attached a photo of each cycle's description in the instruction manual. This has been perfect and we've never had a wash come out bad.
I can highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone who wants one in their home but doesn't have the possibility to have one fitted into a kitchen unit. It seems very good quality and we like the simple smart style of it.
The only problem we've encountered is that we cannot fit large plates or pans into this as the drawer height isn't tall enough.
We understand it's a compact dishwasher and have been happy to accept there are still a few items we will wash by hand. This has been a great purchase and I am very happy so far. Thanks for a great product.
