4 Intelligent Operating Modes
Choose the perfect mode for your needs – from automatic humidity control to intensive laundry drying.
🧠 Smart Mode
AUTO
Automatically maintains humidity between 45-55% – the ideal level for health and comfort. Set it and forget it.
👕 Drying Mode
LAUNDRY
Maximum extraction power to dry clothes indoors quickly – even on rainy days. Gentle on fabrics.
🎯 Normal Mode
MANUAL
Set your preferred humidity level (35-85%) and choose from 3 fan speeds. Full control.

The three litre tank is ample. A larger tank would be very heavy when full.
The app and Alexa integration are smooth. They give you the option to have complex schedules and complete control of the machine. The manual talks about it having a delayed start mode which works once while the smart integration gives you the flexibilty to schedule in conjunction with smart environment sensors combined with timed schedules.
It’s surprising how much water is within the air
Noise-wise, it’s not silent—it sounds like a fan, with a noticeable hum even on low. It gets louder as the fan speed increases, which is expected. Still, it’s perfectly suitable for our open-plan reception area. I run it on low during summer, but I’ll likely increase the setting in winter to tackle condensation.
The smart control features are a highlight. App integration and Alexa compatibility make it easy to include in my smart home routines. The smart mode is especially useful—it automatically switches to standby when humidity is within target range and resumes operation when needed, helping reduce energy usage. The 3L water tank is generous, and the sturdy handle makes emptying it easy. It also beeps and sends in-app notifications when full, preventing overflow.
I’ve noticed a slight increase in electricity usage, but not excessive. I’ll monitor it over the month to compare with the cost of using a tumble dryer, especially since this unit includes a drying mode for laundry.
I also purchased the COMFEE' 12L version for upstairs use to maintain consistent humidity throughout the house. It’s working well and meets expectations. While I do miss the app control and Alexa integration of the 20L model, the 12L unit functions similarly. Its humidity readings are closer to my upstairs hygrometer, which makes me question the accuracy of the 20L unit slightly.
The 12L version has only two fan speeds (high and low) compared to the 20L’s three (low, medium, high), but it still includes auto mode, which is my preferred setting. Initially, I thought it didn’t have wheels and dreaded moving it between rooms—but I found them tucked inside the water tank, which was a pleasant surprise. The tank is smaller than the 20L’s, as expected.
Overall, the 12L unit is a good addition to our setup. I’m still debating whether I should’ve bought another 20L for the smart features, but with the 12L priced at £99.99 and the 20L at £149.99, the £50 difference just for app functionality is something to consider.
If you remove the water tank before its full, the machine doesn't stop, making it look like some little details were not though through.
It's easy to move around, it has flat parts and 4 wheels if you feel like installing them.
The design is simple and effective and the noise levels range from very loud and effective to very low and "is it actually doing anything?".
Overall if it's on sale, it's worth the money.
This dehumidifier does a good job of pulling that excess moisture out of the air before it settles on the windows, so it makes for a healthier, warmer, environment. It's a sufficiently annoying level of noise to preclude us from leaving it running overnight in the bedroom, but the noise fades into the background as soon as we start moving around.
At just under £160, it feels a bit expensive compared to other models that are available, but the application of the £30 voucher that is currently available makes it extremely competitive and thus very much recommended
It has a large capacity water tray, which is easy to empty and the auto shut off mode turns the unit off and beeps to let you know when the collection tray is full.
It isn’t the most quiet unit, the fan is clearly audible and I wouldn’t keep it running overnight.
It appears to work very effectively, drawing off a good amount of water and has maintained the humidity at a comfortable 50-55%.
It is very similar to my previous dehumidifier unit but a fair bit more expensive without any extra features or noticeable improvements, so I would suggest it’s not necessarily the best value for money, however there is (at time of review) a (£30) discount voucher which makes it much more reasonably priced.
